Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The Wollaston Supergroup (revised) overlies Archean gneiss along the eastern margin of the Hearne Province. Four unconformity-bounded Paleoproterozoic siliciclastic metasedimentary sequences include minor carbonate and volcanic rocks. The ca. 2075 Ma volcanic rocks and detrital zircon grains greater than 2.37 Ga restricted to the east are interpreted as rift and passive-margin deposits, respectively. Coarsening- and fining-upward foreland basin successions (detrital zircons >1.88 Ga) underlie all of the Wollaston Domain. During the 1.86 - 1.78 Ga Trans-Hudson Orogeny, four episodes of ductile deformation generated upper-amphibolite- to granulite-facies metamorphism, except for an easternmost greenschist- to lower-amphibolite zone. Zinc-lead prospects are mainly in the middle two groups, especially at George Lake. 'Redbed'-type copper occurrences e.g. Janice Lake prospect, are mainly in the youngest group. Widespread late Trans-Hudson Orogen pegmatite and granitoid intrusions contain minor uranium. Many unconformity-associated uranium deposits of the Athabasca Basin are associated with the basal graphitic metapelite unit of the foreland basin succession.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
