Les communautés d’Ivujivik et de Puvirnituq (Nunavik, Canada), en association avec l’Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT), collaborent depuis plus de 30 ans à un projet de développement de l’éducation. Afin d’en faire un bilan, les partenaires inuit et universitaires ont organisé en novembre 2015, à Puvirnituq, un colloque ouvert à la population ainsi qu’aux acteurs intéressés par l’éducation au Nunavik. Une analyse partielle du contenu des échanges et des communications portant sur le processus de partenariat, les composantes du curriculum scolaire et son développement en inuktitut a été réalisée en lien avec les concepts de « dialogue interculturel » et de « curriculum ». Les résultats préliminaires sont ici présentés et laissent entrevoir la complexité méconnue du parcours scolaire des élèves inuit et du travail des enseignants auprès d’eux. Ils soulèvent la question de l’émergence d’une troisième culture, observable à travers la pratique dialogique développée.
