Abstract
En étudiant deux cas de figure très différents l’un de l’autre, on peut voir certaines conditions d’invisibilité des écrans grâce à des déplacements médiatiques et à des jeux de temporalité. Le premier cas est une brève scène marginale de Terminator de James Cameron (1984) qui montre deux fillettes dans l’année 2029 qui sont fascinées par un téléviseur obsolète à l’écran disparu et dans lequel un feu flamboie. Le second cas est une œuvre–promenade de Janet Cardiff, Conspiracy Theory / Théorie du complot (2002), dans laquelle le participant est engagé dans l’expérimentation d’une marche, caméra vidéo en main, donnant ainsi une impression d’écran à la fois présent et débordé par un phénomène de déjà-vu.
