Abstract
Peran Bimbingan Konseling dalam Pembentukan Karakter Siswa SMP drul Ulum 1 Unggulan Peterongan Jombang. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu siswa/siswa dalam pembentukan karakter yang ada di sekolah dengan adanya penelitian ini agar dapat membantu siswa dalam menemmukan jati dirinya dan membantu siswa/siswi dalam pembentukan karakter nya tidak hanya untuk membantu siswa dalam pembentukan karakter bimbingan konseling juga untuk membantu menyelesaikan persoalan yang ada, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa: metode dilakukan di dalam ruangan; faktor pendukung adalah tempat yang kondusif, menghemat waktu untuk banyak siswa; dan faktor penghambat adalah kesulitan dalam mewawancarai Guru BK
