Temperature Dependent Robust Behavioral Modeling of Non-Linear Power Amplifier
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The performance and characteristics of a power amplifier (PA) are substantially changed by the variation of operating power level or ambient temperature. In this work, the steady state channel temperature of a PA is identified as an effective parameter for robust PA behavioral modeling under such practical variation. The model coefficients of the power amplifier at different input signal level are estimated as a function of temperature. The performance of the proposed temperature dependent PA modeling is evaluated with a 600 W digital video broadcasting- terrestrial (DVB-T)PA at 600 MHz. Measurement results shows the average NMSE of the proposed modeling approach below -35 dB which can go as high as 10 dB if not compensated properly when the operating power level changes. Such robustness of the temperature dependent high-power PA modeling at operating power variation is highly desirable.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
