Abstract
Resumen Beya es una narrativa gráfica basada en la novela de Gabriela Cabezón Cámara Le viste la cara a Dios y que ha dibujado Iñaki Echevarría. La obra cuenta la historia de una adolescente de clase media, secuestrada por una red de mafiosos y obligada a prostituirse sin posibilidad de escape. La continua y mecánica deshumanización que sufre la protagonista provoca la necesidad de venganza y cuando tiene la oportunidad, mata con frialdad a sus secuestradores. Este artículo examina tres aspectos: el trauma que sufre Beya, la venganza y sus consecuencias en la protagonista, y la posición del lector ante las escenas de violencia.
