UMA ANÁLISE DA PROTEÇÃO INFORMACIONAL PARA O PATRIMÔNIO CULTURAL

Abstract
O dano ao patrimonio cultural e recorrente, mesmo diante do numero de sancoes previstas pela lei. Objetiva-se compreender como a informacao pode colaborar na preservacao do patrimonio cultural. Sao objetivos especificos: comparar em quais aspectos e onde estao disponiveis as informacoes de patrimonios culturais materiais localizados nas cidades de Sabara (Minas Gerais, Brasil) e Montreal (Quebec, Canada) afim de possibilitar contribuicoes e inovacoes na busca da preservacao de bens; fomentar a participacao do cidadao na protecao do patrimonio cultural por meio da disponibilizacao de um prototipo mobile. Os resultados iniciais da analise comparada demonstram que os patrimonios culturais mais visitados, citados e conhecidos sao os que possuem maior grau de protecao e menor dano. A protecao informacional e concebida na presente pesquisa como a possibilidade do uso da informacao para a reducao do risco de dano eminente ou potencial do bem cultural. Para demonstrar a aplicacao do conceito, a presente pesquisa concebeu a construcao de um prototipo que pretende disponibilizar as fontes de informacao identificadas nos patrimonios culturais escolhidos em ambiente virtual de livre acesso que podera colaborar no despertar do cidadao-usuario para a necessidade de protecao do bem e ao mesmo tempo identificar os possiveis danos ao patrimonio cultural.
