Abstract
Mon premier contact avec l'œuvre de Pierre Falardeau s'est produit à l'hiver 1991.Fraîchement inscrit au collège pour faire un DEC en cinéma, j'apprenais, dans un cours de langage cinémato graphique, à distinguer un son hors champ d'un son en champ, un fondu enchaîné d'un volet, un travelling optique d'un travelling réel et un travelling d'un panoramique.Il n'en fallait pas plus pour que ces connaissances me montent un peu à la tête.Sans que le professeur y soit pour quoi que ce soit, je conçus rapidement ma petite hiérarchie esthétique personnelle.Un travelling valait toujours mieux qu'un panoramique ou un zoom; un dialogue filmé en plan séquence affirmait la maîtrise d'un auteur; une alternance de champs et de contrechamps confir mait sa paresse.
