Abstract
Le souci de concevoir la réalité des petites gens au Moyen Âge engendre des thèmes infiniment riches et variés. Il apparaît légitime que parmi les activités journalières du commun, celle qui assure la survie, qui consomme la plus grande partie du temps humain, et qui de surcroît définit la place du non-noble dans la société médiévale, reçoive un peu d’attention, à savoir le travail.
