Abstract
La colere du lac nous met sur les traces d'une jeune femme de Chicoutimi, Josephine, a qui l'on confie la tâche de prendre soin d'un marin irlandais de passage. Entre deux attentions destinees a faciliter la remission du malade, naitront secretement des regards et des caresses suivis quelques mois plus tard par la naissance d'un petit etre, Francois, dont Josephine ne pourra ouvertement partager l'existence. Quelques dures annees passent dans la vie de Francois a l'orphelinat avant qu'il suive a contrec?ur une famille de la Pointe-Taillon venue pour l'adopter. Entre un pere qui se revelera travaillant et aimant, et une mere irritable et malade, Francois cherchera a faire sa place dans cette maison de la Pointe, ainsi que dans ce qu'il considere desormais comme son nouveau royaume... les abords du majestueux lac Saint-Jean.
