Abstract
Statistics of China's sulphur import and analysis of domestic market in 2011 are carried out.China imported sulphur 9 523.2 kt in 2011,a decrease of 9.21%compared to 2010.In the first half of the year,sulphur price rose continuously and reached peak of about 1 800 RMB/t in early June in East China market.And in the second half of the year,the market fell into a sluggish and fragile status with the price below 1 700 RMB/t at the end of the year.In 2011,the main sulphur suppliers for China were Saudi Arabia,Kazakhstan and Canada and China's sulphur purchase concentrated in Jiangsu,Yunnan,Guizhou,Shandong,Hubei el at.
