Le complexe gneissique de Bondy (1.4-1.35 Ga), Province de Grenville, est interprete comme les vestiges d’un edifice plutono-volcanique d’arc presentant un debut de rifting. Sa partie septentrionale referme un systeme hydrothermal de taille pluri-kilometrique (12 x 4 km) dont les facies metasomatiques metamorphises s’apparentent a ceux des gites a oxydes de fer cuivre-or (IOCG) a composantes sommitales epithermales. Du nord au sud, le systeme hydrothermal est compose : i) de tourmalinites magnesiennes ; ii) de gneiss a plagioclase, cordierite et orthopyroxene ; iii) de gneiss alumineux a biotite, cordierite, orthopyroxene et/ou sillimanite ; iv) de gneiss quartzo-feldspathiques lamines ; v) de grenatites a magnetite et chalcopyrite ; vi) de gneiss hyperalumineux a sillimanite ; vii) de grenatites a biotite ; et viii) d’amphibolites associees a des grenatites a amphiboles. Collectivement, ces facies traduisent la presence d’alteration argilique, chloritique, sodique, calcique-fer, potassique-fer, potassique et sericitique. Au sein du systeme hydrothermal, les differents types de gneiss peuvent presenter des profils de terres rares, normalises aux chondrites, en forme d’aile d’oiseau. Ces profils sont caracterises par une pente negative des elements des terres rares legeres ([La/Sm]n >1), par une pente positive des elements des terres rares lourdes ([Tb/Yb]n <1), et par une forte anomalie negative de Eu. De tels spectres sont observes dans les grenatites, dans les gneiss blancs a plagioclase, cordierite et orthopyroxene, dans des gneiss alumineux riches en Fe ou en Mg, et dans des gneiss quartzo-feldspathiques lamines avec sulfures. Cette signature des terres rares est generalement associee a une forte teneur en zirconium et a des rapports de Nb/Ta et de Hf/Sm suprachondritiques. Ce comportement des elements traces implique une interaction fluide-roche avec des solutions hydrothermales reductrices et une implication consequente de fluides riches en fluor (Fu et al., 2003). Toutefois cette mobilite des elements traces et terres rares ne semble pas liee a une signature hydrothermale en elements majeurs particuliere.
