Abstract
L’explosion des ressources documentaires, alliée à l’accroissement des coûts de la documentation et de son traitement, nécessitent le recours à l’informatique. Le projet CIDBEQ, proposé par le Service général des moyens d’enseignement, fut approuvé en mai 1973, dans le but de doter les bibliothèques d’enseignement du Québec d’un centre d’informatique documentaire. La première phase du projet CIDBEQ (constitution de l’équipe de travail, études préliminaires, etc.) est terminée, et un premier rapport contenant des recommandations précises sera remis sous peu.
