Le réseau de télédocumentation de l’Université du Québec regroupe les bibliothèques et centres de documentation des douze établissements qui composent ce réseau universitaire réparti sur l’ensemble du territoire québécois. Doté de moyens modernes de télécommunication, il intègre dans un même secteur des communications l’informatique, l’audiovisuel et les bibliothèques. Favorable à une politique de décentralisation et de flexibilité, ce réseau compte à son actif un catalogue collectif des ressources documentaires accessibles en mode dialogué, de même qu’un service rapide de prêt entre bibliothèques supporté par courrier électronique.
