Abstract
I. Recherches de terrain Myrina : nouvelles données d'une fouille du XIX e siècle Quelques kilomètres au nord du site industriel de Kymé, l'arrivée sur le site de Myrina offre un contraste saisissant avec sa consœur d'Éolide : aucune trace d'occupation humaine moderne n'est visible sur cette portion de territoire s'avançant en presqu'île dans la mer, protégée par quelques collines de la grande route ralliant İzmir à Pergame.Retrouvés récemment, les aquarelles et dessins de Salomon Reinach 1 , qui fouilla le site avec Edmond Pottier entre 1880 et 1882 2 , illustrent le même panorama vierge avec le creux d'une petite anse, les pentes douces de deux éminences, l'écoulement d'un fleuve et quelques vestiges d'une occupation antique, qu'aucune installation d'importance depuis l'époque byzantine n'est venue modifier.Sur le site, les cent trente années qui se sont écoulées depuis la fin de la fouille semblent s'effacer et la découverte * Université de Franche-Comté -ISTA (EA 4011).hadrien.bru@univ-fcomte.fr,guy.labarre
