Abstract
This article continues a review of the professional lives of the 4 veterinarians who have been honored by election to fellowship in the Royal Society of Canada (RSC). Part I dealt with Seymour Hadwen and Thomas W.M. Cameron. Arthur E. Watson and Charles A. Mitchell are covered herein. Presently no living veterinarian is a member of the RSC. It is argued that this is a reflection of the profession's narrow technical focus, its neglect of its roots in biology and comparative medicine, and, perhaps most importantly, its inattention to the major problems of society that fall within its purview.
