Methanol, chloroform and hexane extracts from leaves of Kirganelia reticulata, used in Indian ayurvedic medicine for the treatment of several ailments of microbial and non-microbial origin were evaluated for potential antibacterial activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
