Abstract
Le Rapport de la Commission internationale sur le développement en éducation (UNESCO) est une réflexion critique sur l’évolution de l’éducation dans le monde. À la suite d’un constat sévère de la situation présente, il recommande l’élaboration d’une nouvelle stratégie de développement de l’éducation, pensée en fonction des possibilités présentes et des exigences de l’avenir. Aux valeurs passées, il faut en substituer de nouvelles qui correspondent à la vie réelle, faite de progrès technique et de changement. L’école pourra de moins en moins assumer seule les fonctions éducatives de la société. Il faudra intégrer et exploiter les richesses culturelles nationales.
