Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This Conference on Grand Challenges in Modeling and Simulation (GCMS '11) is the fourth in a series that began as part of the SCS Summer simulation Multi-Conference (SummerSim) in Edinburgh in 2008 and continued in Istanbul in 2009 and Ottawa in 2010 going from strength to strength. Its aim is to address those problems and issues facing the M&S Community that present major obstacles on the road to achieving the full potential of modeling and simulation in an ever growing range of applications. The Grand Challenge can be to develop new methods of solving the complex equations arising in a particular application, or a new software product that brings greater power into the hands of users of M&S, or anew architecture that so enhances the power of simulation systems that new, previously out-of-reach applications can be tackled.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
