Abstract
Dans le cadre de l'émergence de ce qu'on a appelé «nouvelle muséologie » ou «muséologie critique », en Europe et au Canada en particulier, la question des relations entre les musées et les représentants des sociétés ou des groupes sociaux dont sont issus les objets qui y sont exposés a été placée au centre des interrogations. C'est dans cette optique que le Musée des Confluences a proposé, en mai 2009, cinq jours de rencontres et d'échanges avec des représentants autochtones, événement intitulé «À la rencontre des peuples autochtones ». Cet article est le reflet de ce qui s'est passé au cours de ces rencontres.
