Abstract
Il semblerait qu’une opposition existe entre l’universalité et la contingence. Cette opposition nous paraît être fallacieuse. Nous développons dans cet article un argument en faveur d’une troisième piste, celle de l’hybridité, que nous basons sur la théorie postcoloniale. Nous nous intéressons aux interactions interculturelles et à leurs impacts sur les modes de management des entreprises africaines comme prisme de lecture, afin de contribuer aux réflexions théoriques et conceptuelles sur le caractère et les attributs d’une notion de management africain. Nous suggérons qu’une théorie du management en Afrique est par définition hybride et reflète le résultat des rencontres interculturelles.
