Abstract
Kesehatan didefinisikan sebagai "keadaan lengkap fisik, mental, dan kesejahteraan sosial dan bukan hanya ketiadaan penyakit atau kelemahan. Hanya segelintir publikasi telah difokuskan secara khusus pada definisi kesehatan dan evolusi dalam 6 dekade pertama. Beberapa dari mereka menyoroti kurangnya nilai operasional dan masalah diciptakan dengan menggunakan kata "lengkap." WHO dalam Piagam Ottawa untuk Promosi Kesehatan, mengatakan bahwa kesehatan adalah "sumber daya bagi kehidupan sehari-hari. Secara keseluruhan kesehatan dicapai melalui kombinasi dari fisik, mental, dan kesejahteraan sosial, yang, bersama-sama sering disebut sebagai "Segitiga Kesehatan". Perilaku kesehatan secara garis besar dikelompokkan menjadi 2 yakni Perilaku sehat dan perilaku orang sakit. Perilaku orang yang sehat agar tetap sehat dan meningkat. Oleh karena itu perilaku ini disebut perilaku sehat (helathy behaviour) yang mencakup perilaku-perilaku (overt dan covert behaviour) dan mencegah atau menghindari dari penyakit dan penyebab penyakit. Perilaku orang yang sakit atau telah terkena masalah kesehatan merupakan perilaku untuk memperoleh penyembuhan atau pemecahan masalah kesehatannya. Oleh karena itu perilaku ini juga disebut perilaku pencarian pelayanan pelayanan kesehatan (health seeking behaviour).Kata Kunci : Pelayana kesehatann, perilaku kesehatan
