Abstract
Les technologies numériques sont désormais bien implantées dans les programmes d’éducation musicale. Toutefois, les musiciens éducateurs ne disposent pas encore de fondements philosophiques tenant compte des changements provoqués par l’utilisation des TIC en enseignement de la musique. Cet article a pour objectif d’exposer les principaux enjeux philosophiques liés à l’intégration des TIC en éducation musicale. Pour ce faire, nous présentons d’abord les principaux arguments pour et contre l’intégration des TIC dans le domaine de l’éducation en général, afin de situer le sujet traité dans un contexte plus global. Ensuite, nous abordons le thème des TIC sous l’angle spécifique de l’éducation musicale. De façon plus précise, nous brossons un tableau des effets qu’ont les TIC sur l’environnement musical actuel et nous proposons une définition des TIC dans le contexte de l’éducation musicale. Ensuite, nous présentons les enjeux philosophiques concernant l’intégration des TIC en éducation musicale autour de trois axes : le pédagogique, le sociétal et le professionnel.
