Abstract
Les théories de l’action s’appuient souvent sur la thèse de la rationalité procédurale ou limitée, thèse qu’elles ont intégrée, pour rejeter tout reproche que l’on adresse à leur modélisation, notamment pour se protéger contre l’objection de ne pas pouvoir prendre en compte les émotions. Or quand on soumet cette thèse à la critique, on s’aperçoit rapidement qu’elle n’est pas en mesure de servir de bouclier, car la modélisation demeure centrée sur la raison et sur ses corollaires : la conscience, l’intention, la stratégie, la liberté et l’intérêt. On découvre, en effet, que les théories de l’action n’ont pas accès à ces caractéristiques fondamentales de l’humanité que sont les dialectiques de la raison et de l’émotion, de la conscience et de l’inconscient, de la liberté et de la détermination.
