Abstract
Au Canada, l’industrie pharmaceutique représente un secteur d’activités en pleine expansion. Il importe donc d’en mieux connaître le fonctionnement. Dans cet article, les auteures décriront et analyseront les obligations du fabricant de médicaments, suite à l’obtention d’une autorisation de mise en marché d’un nouveau produit. Ainsi, il sera question de l’obligation de qualité et de sécurité de même que de l’obligation d’information, en se référant tantôt au droit civil québécois, tantôt à la législation fédérale sur les aliments et drogues. Une attention particulière sera accordée à cette dernière, compte tenu de sa spécificité au regard de ce secteur d’activités.
