Abstract
Structural heart disease (SHD) is an innovative field driven forward by the success of novel transcatheter device technologies. Much of the rapid progress and expansion of this field can be attributed to patient selection and to the collaborative case planning by the multi-disciplinary Heart Team comprised of Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, SHD Interventional Imaging Cardiologists, Cardiac Anesthesiologists, Cardiac Radiologists, and Advanced Practice Providers.
