La destruction de l’ancien garage Manni préalablement à la mise en œuvre d’un projet d’immeuble d’habitation a offert l’opportunité d’explorer pour la première fois le sous-sol du centre ancien de L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue sur une superficie importante. À la suite d’un diagnostic positif réalisé en 2015, une prescription a été établie pour une partie de la vaste parcelle qu’occupait le garage Manni (1 300 m²).
