Dost Kitabevi Yayınları Ocak 2018 de çıkan ve Ümit Hüsrev Yolsal tarafından çevrilen 160 sayfalık eser Giroux'un Eğitim ve çoktandır marjinalleşmiş bir gençliği tümden gözden çıkaran bir toplumu bekleyen akıbetten söz edilmektedir.Eleştirel pedagojinin kurucusu, Birleşik Amerikalı düşünür, eleştirmen.1977 yılında Carnegie-Mellon Üniversitesi'nden doktorasını aldıktan sonra 1983'e kadar Boston Üniversitesi'nde ders verdi.Ardından Miami ve Penn State Üniversitelerinde görev aldı.Kitabın yazarı Henry A. Giroux Ontario'daki McMaster Üniversitesi'nde hala öğretim görevlisi olarak çalışmasını sürdürmektedir.Yazar alanının en etkili ve çığır açıcı düşünürlerinden birisidir.Yazarın 11 kitabı bulunmaktadır.
