Abstract
Le musée Petiet de Limoux a récemment acquis un portrait féminin signé Marie Beaumetz-Petiet et un ensemble de croquis militaires attribués à son époux Étienne Dujardin-Beaumetz. L’étude de ces œuvres a permis de toutes les dater de la même année : 1891. Elles illustrent les changements qui sont intervenus dans la vie du couple depuis son mariage : Étienne se consacre à sa carrière de député et sa production artistique n’est plus qu’officieuse, Marie renouvelle le style de ses portraits.
