Abstract
Elizabethkingia meningoseptica is an uncommon pathogen that has been associated with nosocomial infections and can pose a therapeutic challenge. It is resistant to most conventional agents used in treatment of gram-negative organisms and as such use of these agents may be unfavorable. Oral therapy with the appropriate agents to address this infection in certain patients may be successful.
