Abstract
Présentes pendant plus d’un siècle dans le département du Tarn, les Clarisses de Mazamet ont été de grandes brodeuses. Tout particulièrement entre 1920 et 1940, elles ont offert parmi les plus belles créations brodées de l’Art sacré de la période Art déco. Cet article porte sur les œuvres aujourd’hui conservées au presbytère de Tastavy, mais qui étaient dans la sacristie du monastère jusqu’à sa fermeture fin 2015.
