Abstract
Описано життєвий шлях і громадську та творчу діяльність канадської письменниці українського походження Ірени Книш. Зокрема, показані пріоритети її журналістської та публіцистичної діяльності. Коротко відтворено зміст та проаналізовано всі одинадцять книжок, які написала та видала своїм коштом Ірена Книш. Особливу увагу приділено книжкам «Патріотизм Анни Йонкер», «Іван Франко та рівноправність жінки», «Три ровесниці». (The life path and the social and creative activities of the Canadian writer of Ukrainian origin, Irena Knysh, are described. In particular, the priorities of her journalistic and publishing activities are shown. The content of all eleven books that Irena Knysh wrote and published at her own expense is briefly reproduced and analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the books «Anna Yonkers Patriotism», «Ivan Franko and the Equality of Women», «Three Ladies of the Same Age».)
