Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji parameter hidro-oseanografi dalam menentukan letak pelabuhan niaga di Perairan Manyar Kabupaten Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tinggi gelombang maksimum pada musim barat Januari 2013 dan 2014 masing-masing dengan tinggi 2,10 m dan 1,94 m. Pada musim timur, tinggi gelombang maksimum sebesar 1,1 m dan 3,1 m terjadi pada Juli 2013 dan Juli 2014. Kondisi arus dominan menuju timur dengan kecepatan maksimum 286 cm/s. Pasang surut memiliki nilai HHWL, MSL dan LLWL masing – masing 155 cm, 105 cm dan 38 cm dengan nilai formzhal 2,11 menjelaskan pasang surut tunggal dengan pasang harian tunggal pada satu hari, namun hari tertentu terdapat dua kali pasang dan dua kali kembali.
