El proyecto originario de las instituciones de educacion superior emergio sustentado en valores historicos de primer orden: sentido de responsabilidad organizada, democracia, compromiso civico, justicia, pensamiento propio, bien comun. En el marco del neoliberalismo, un proyecto regido por la logica de la logica de mercado, la privatizacion, la desregulacion, ha propulsado la metamorfosis de las universidades que degrada sus Rectores a simples administradores que operan como Principales Oficiales Ejecutivos, sin mayor erudicion ni compromiso civico, que responden unilateralmente a empresarios o inversionistas. Esta contradiccion ha creado un grave impacto en la juventud de EU, en uno de los paises mas ricos del mundo ese modelo ha generado caida del nivel de vida de la juventud
