Abstract
Les enjeux liés à l’immigration et au déplacement des réfugiés sont évoqués depuis plusieurs années en littérature pour la jeunesse. Le contexte géopolitique mondial et son retentissement, notamment en Europe en raison d’un afflux sans précédent de personnes déplacées, invite à s’intéresser à la manière dont les albums destinés aux enfants abordent ces délicates questions. Le corpus à l’étude est composé de trois œuvres qui traitent de l’exil et de ses conséquences : Là-bas, tout au fond du dessin, Moi, Dieu Merci, qui vis ici et Avec trois brins de laine (on refait le monde). Mon analyse rend d’abord compte des difficultés éprouvées par des personnages migrants contraints de s’adapter à un nouvel environnement, puis des ressources qu’ils déploient pour surmonter ces difficultés. Je montre, ensuite, comment, en réinventant leur vie, les exilés contribuent à changer positivement celle de leur entourage dans le pays d’accueil. Je conclus ma réflexion en examinant les moyens mis en œuvre dans les trois albums afin d’amener les lecteurs à se sentir interpellés par l’expérience des personnages exilés.
