Abstract
L’actualité médiatique récurrente de la question des réfugiés et sa centralité dans les débats politiques contrastent avec la connaissance limitée des procédures et des pratiques à travers lesquelles les États décident qui a droit au statut de réfugié. Ce numéro spécial dePolitique et Sociétésapporte une contribution à la compréhension des politiques d’asile « par le bas », c’est-à-dire à partir des pratiques et des représentations de différents acteurs directement impliqués dans leur mise en oeuvre. Il propose un regard comparatif relatif aux acteurs concernés, aux institutions et aux pratiques de l’administration en charge de l’asile dans différents pays européens (Belgique, France, Norvège, Suisse), au Canada et en Égypte.
