Abstract
Le recyclage des matières premières minérales est un moyen d'améliorer la productivité des ressources et leur écoefficacité. Mais le recyclage a des contraintes thermodynamiques et ne peut suffire à satisfaire des besoins croissants. Cet article examine ces contraintes et souligne l'importance d'une infrastructure métallurgique et d'une industrie extractive européennes innovantes pour le maintien des capacités de recyclage en Europe et l'amélioration de l'écoefficacité.
