Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The philosophy of Wu-wei, as a core concept of Daoism is preliminarily interpreted as the political theory for governance and the attempts to connect it into pedagogy is less motivated. The reasons lie in the common perception of Wu-wei as a form of passivity encouraging ‘back to the ignorance’ and taking ‘no action’. In this paper, by exploring the basic aspects of the philosophical notion of Wu-wei, the misunderstandings are clarified and implications for how a classroom teacher could act in pedagogical practices are drawn in the hope of expanding our views of the act of teaching and providing more possibilities for reconceptualizing how to be a teacher in the complexities and uniqueness of different pedagogical situations.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
