Abstract
En 1988, le Parlement fédéral apportait des modifications majeures à la Loi sur le droit d’auteur et il promettait de compléter la réforme de la loi dans les prochaines années. Depuis 1988, de nombreux auteurs ont commenté les modifications législatives, mais il y a peu d’écrits faisant une synthèse complète du droit antérieur et des modifications récentes. Dans cet article, l’auteure fait une présentation succincte de l’état du droit dans le domaine du droit d’auteur, compte tenu des modifications apportées par la Loi modifiant la Loi sur le droit d’auteur de 1988 et de celles découlant de l’accord de libre-échange conclu entre le Canada et les États-Unis.
