Créée en 1975, la Communauté des États de l’Afrique de l’Ouest (CEDEAO) s’est fixée pour objectifs de favoriser, entre autres, sur le plan économique, la création d’une union douanière et économique afin d’impulser la libre circulation des personnes et des biens.
