Abstract
Este articulo tiene por objetivo discutir algunos elementos de los programas y politicas publicas relacionadas con la ciencia y profesionalizacion de los investigadores en Mexico que nos permitan hacer evidente su modelo subyacente de movilizacion del conocimiento, el rol que tienen sus principales actores y el rol que tiene el conocimiento en la reproduccion o transformacion social. A traves de una revision teorica, se presentan algunas concepciones y perspectivas del termino, se describe, como caso de referencia, la politica publica de Canada, posteriormente el caso de Mexico y finalmente se presentan algunas reflexiones en torno al impacto de dichas politicas en la movilizacion del conocimiento, en las universidades y en los investigadores mexicanos.
