Penggunaan lahan untuk transportasi di daerah penelitian berupa jaringan jalan arteri primer.
 Berdasarkan kemampuan lahan diperlukan analisis tentang pemetaan jaringan jalan terhadap berbagai
 aktivitas manusia dalam memanfaatkan suatu lahan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan informasi
 pembangunan jalan yang menghubung antar public service dalam satu kecamatan Sukolilo dalam
 mendukung pengembangan kawasan perdagangan dan jasa. Metode yang digunakan untuk pemetaan
 jaringan jalan menggunakan pendekatan Sistem Informasi Geografis dengan metode rubbersheet,
 menganalisis data Peta Rupa Bumi Indonesia serta pengamatan lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini
 didapatkan ruas jalan sebagai pelayanan aktivitas pergerakan halnya perdagangan dan jasa.
