Abstract
Le nouveau Code civil du Québec reconnaît la possibilité de détenir une hypothèque sur des biens meubles. Le présent texte a pour but d’examiner les moyens par lesquels un créancier détenant une telle hypothèque pourra, en vertu des nouvelles dispositions du Code civil du Québec , réaliser sa garantie. En plus de souligner en quoi ces nouvelles règles se distinguent du droit actuel, l’auteur indique également comment celles-ci se comparent, le cas échéant, à la législation ontarienne.
