Abstract
La poésie chante, la musique parle. Une communauté de voix sous-tend la langue parlée et le langage musical, qui prennent leur source dans l’écholalie où les mots et les notes s’assemblent selon des tournures d’ordre prosodique plutôt que des règles liées à la grammaire ou au solfège. Les intonations qui en résultent donnent lieu à ce que Heidegger appelle une Stimmung, soit une tonalité affective caractéristique d’une époque donnée, qui relève moins de la vie sociale que de la « vie chorale ou orchestrale », dont Rimbaud dit qu’elle est fondatrice de notre humanité. Aufgang et Outscape de Pascal Dusapin s’appuient sur cette communauté vocale, où l’on entend le « delà » (Auf) et le « dehors » (Out) propres à la posthistoire dans laquelle nous sommes entrés : le subtil entrelacs des instruments solistes et de l’orchestre y fait surgir de nouvelles tonalités, où l’on éprouve une autre forme de temporalité – musicale et poétique, certes, mais historique et politique aussi.
