Abstract
Chronische Rhinosinusitis mit Nasenpolypen (CRSwNP) ist eine vorwiegend Typ-2-vermittelte Erkrankung mit hoher Symptomlast u. schlechter Lebensqualität. Dupilumab, ein humaner IL-4Rα-mAb, inhibiert die für die Typ-2-Entzündung zentralen Zytokine IL-4/IL-13 und ist bei Erwachsenen für unkontrollierte mittlere bis schwere atopische Dermatitis sowie in den USA für Patienten (Pat) ab 12 Jahren für mittleres bis schweres eosinophiles oder Steroid-abhängiges Asthma indiziert. In einer Phase-2a-Studie verbesserte Dupilumab endoskopische, radiologische, klinische u. subjektive Beschwerden in CRSwNP Pat. Wir präsentieren Baseline-Charakteristika von CRSwNP-Pat unter täglichen nasalen Steroiden aus der neuen Dupilumab Phase-3-Studie (SINUS-52; NCT02898454).
