O Canada, enfoque deste poster, pais cuja a tradicao arquivistica e reflexo da Arquivistica contemporânea de Schellenberg e do trabalho arrojado e ousado de W. Kyle Lamb da inicio a uma perspectiva para a arquivistica canadense e mundial. O presente trabalho e resultado do plano de pesquisa “A representacao arquivistica na tradicao canadense: subsidios para elaboracao de um modelo ideal de ensino por meio da semântica textual”, e tem por objetivo principal contribuir para a construcao de um referencial teorico e metodologico a respeito da Representacao e organizacao no contexto da arquivistica canadense, visando a contribuir para a construcao de instrumentos de pesquisa.  Tendo por base metodologica a semântica textual. Se apresenta como um estudo exploratorio, teorico e documental para a compreensao dos instrumentos de pesquisa analisados e tambem compreensao dos caminhos da construcao de instrumentos na Library and Archives Canada e Provicial Archives of Manitoba .
