Abstract
Les recours extraordinaires doivent être exercés dans un délai raisonnable : l’application de cette règle, issue de la common law et codifiée au Québec depuis 1983, a soulevé plusieurs interprétations divergentes au cours des dernières années. À la lumière de l’analyse d’un arrêt de la Cour d’appel du Québec qui énonce les différents critères devant guider les tribunaux supérieurs quant à l’appréciation de la raisonnabilité d’un délai, ce texte propose de faire état de l’évolution qu’a connu ce concept en jurisprudence québécoise, tout particulièrement en matière de recours en évocation.
