Abstract
Alors que Daech et Al-Qaïda se sont violemment affrontés au Moyen-Orient, leurs « filiales » sahéliennes ont eu tendance à s’éviter. Depuis 2017, elles ont même entamé un rapprochement et coopèrent occasionnellement. La chute de Daech en zone syro-irakienne aura des répercussions au Sahel. S’il n’est pas dit que l’État islamique au Grand Sahara (EIGS) et le Groupe de soutien à l’islam et aux musulmans (GSIM) fusionnent, il est en revanche assuré que le djihadisme perdurera dans la zone.
