Abstract
Résumé La prise en charge des enfants en France et au Québec relève d’acteurs et de partenariats variés. Concernant le sens et la portée de la politique de conciliation entre emploi et famille, les deux pays offrent une variété d’objectifs qui empruntent à différents modèles (d’Europe et des États-Unis). La question du choix des femmes, véritable ou contraint, souligne les contradictions des systèmes. Sont évoqués également la place de l’enfant, son droit à être admis dans une structure d’accueil.
