Abstract
A Labrador retriever was reported with anamnesis of thoracic oedema, frequent coughing along with occasionally hemoptysis, labored breathing, restlessness and exercise intolerance. Clinical examination and auscultation revealed severally congested lung with moist rales. CBC, serum biochemistry, modified knott's technique, ECG, X-ray-VHS were undertaken for confirming dicrofilariosis. Initially the dog was treated for pneumonia with combination of Doxycyline, Frusemide, Enapril and Prednisolone for one week. After one week of treatment, dog showed improvement in clinical condition and was managed by combination of Doxycycline and low dose of Ivermectin orally daily for ninety days along with other supportive therapy
